Two bad options, and a third one

Option one is an agency. It takes a percentage of everything, it decides which clients see you, and it represents a tiny fraction of the people actually working. Option two is doing it yourself across an Instagram grid, a personal site and three casting boards that were built for actors, where you apply to notices over and over and hear nothing.

The third option is to be findable. A brand that needs a fitness model in Chicago next Thursday has a very specific set of criteria and no good way to search on them. Publish those criteria as fields rather than as a bio, and the search finds you instead of you finding the search.

Photos, with an 18+ tick on each

Up to twenty on Talent, unlimited on Talent Pro. Every file has its own 18+ box, unticked by default, and location EXIF is stripped from all of them on upload.

Categories

Pick every one that fits. Working in commercial and fitness is normal and both filters should return you.

City

Where you can work without travel being part of the negotiation. Talent Pro can list in more than one.

Height and date of birth

Height in centimeters. Age is calculated from your date of birth, so your profile is accurate next year without you touching it.

Day-rate range

Yours. It is visible before anyone contacts you, which means the first email is about the shoot rather than about money.

What we do not do

The honest list

  • We do not represent you. MaxGirls is a directory, not an agency, and there is no contract about your work between us.
  • We do not take a percentage. Not of a booking, not of a usage buyout, not of anything. We never see what you were paid.
  • We do not negotiate for you, chase your invoices or guarantee that anyone will contact you. A profile is a listing, not a promise of work.
  • We do not publish earnings claims. Anyone telling you what models "make" on their platform is quoting a survey they will not name.
  • We do not sell you a portfolio shoot, a course, or a "you have been scouted" upgrade. Those are the classic modeling scams and we would rather explain them than run them.

Control over your own photos

You decide what is 18+

The tick box is on each photo, not on your profile. A lingerie image can be marked while the rest of the set is not, and the blur is applied to a separate file rather than with a CSS filter that any visitor can switch off in a browser menu.

What happens to a marked photo

  1. The original goes to a private disk that is not reachable from the web.
  2. A degraded preview is generated: reduced to about thirty pixels wide, blurred, scaled back up.
  3. Only that preview is referenced by the page a stranger loads.
  4. A viewer who confirms they are 18 or older gets the original streamed to them, for that photo, for thirty days.

You can unpublish the profile at any time, and export everything you uploaded. Your photos remain yours, and we never license them to anyone.

Price the license, not just the day

The day is a constant. What the client is allowed to do with the images afterwards is the variable, and it is where the money is. Set your own base and read the shape of the quote.

What these numbers are. The base is the figure you set. The license multipliers are this tool's own stated bands, printed so you can see the shape of a quote: media 1.0 to 3.0×, territory 1.0 to 2.0×, term 0.85 to 3.0×, exclusivity 1.0 to 1.75×. They are not a survey, an average or a market rate. MaxGirls publishes no rate table and never sees what you were paid. The reasoning behind each line.

Pick every category that fits you

Listing in more than one is normal and it costs nothing: a model who works commercial and fitness should be returned by both filters. What changes per category is what a booker expects to find in the set.

Fashion Clean digitals (front, profile, full length, no makeup), two or three editorial stories, one runway clip if you have walked. Commercial Approachable headshot, lifestyle images with real expression, a range of wardrobe, at least one image with a product in hand. Fitness Current physique images with the shoot date visible in the caption, movement and lifting shots, activewear on a plain background. Beauty and parts High-resolution close-ups of the feature, bare and unretouched, plus one image showing the feature in use. Hostess and events Business and business-casual wardrobe, a current full-length, and any languages you speak listed in the bio. Promotional Energetic full-length images, branded-uniform shots if you have them, and a note on whether you drive. Influencer Your own best-performing content, a handle in the profile, and a clear statement of what a content package includes. Art Held poses with the duration noted, a range of dynamic and long poses, and your stated comfort with clothed or unclothed work. 18+ Only the work you want public. Mark each 18+ photo on upload and it is blurred at file level for everyone who has not confirmed their age.
