A model can list in several at once, and a brand can filter on several at once.
What brands book it for
Cosmetics and skincare, haircare, jewellery, watches, nail and hand-care brands, device close-ups.
The buyer here is usually an in-house marketing manager, a photographer or a production coordinator with a brief and a date, not a casting director. That is why the filters are city, availability and physical criteria rather than credits and union status.

The best known US hand model agencies are in New York and Los Angeles. PARTS Models in New York says it is not a mother agency and represents experienced parts models rather than developing new ones. Closeup Models, in New York and Los Angeles, holds no open calls, takes submissions by online form and answers within two weeks if it is interested. Both take a commission on the work they book.

When a direct listing does more
Outside those two cities, most hand work is booked by a photographer or a brand's in-house studio that needs a pair of hands on a specific day.
