Model castings without the casting call
A casting call makes the buyer publish and the talent apply, so somebody ends up reading four hundred applications for one booking. MaxGirls runs it the other way round: the model publishes once, the brand filters, and the two sides talk directly.
The mechanism
One profile, four structured fields
Everything else on this page follows from a single decision: the things a booking turns on are stored as fields, not as sentences in a bio. Fields can be filtered. Sentences have to be read.

Category
Nine of them, and a model can hold several. A brand can filter on several at once, which is how a brief like "commercial or lifestyle, not fashion" gets answered in one query.
City
Where the model works without travel becoming part of the negotiation. It is the filter that decides whether a shoot next Thursday is possible at all.
Age and height
Age is derived from date of birth so it cannot go stale. Height is in centimeters, because a large share of commercial and fashion work is decided on it before anything else.
Availability
Available now, available this month, or booked. The model sets it and it takes effect immediately, with no review, so it can be honest.
What actually happens, in order
The model's side

You build the profile
Photos, bio, one or more of the nine categories, your city, your height, your date of birth, the day-rate range you are willing to work at, and your availability. It takes about twenty minutes if your photos are already on your phone. Each photo has its own 18+ tick box, unticked by default.

You submit it for review
Nothing is public at this point. Not in search, not on a category page, not at your own profile URL, not in the sitemap. A person reads the profile: the photos, the bio and the categories you picked.

It is approved, or rejected with a reason
Approval publishes it. A rejection tells you exactly what to change, and you can fix it and resubmit. The common reasons are photos you do not hold the rights to, images that do not show the person the profile claims to be, contact details pasted into the bio, and 18+ material that was not marked as 18+ on upload.

Brands contact you directly
They found you by filtering, so they already know your category, your city, your measurements, your rate range and whether you are free. The first email is about the shoot, not about whether you are available and what you charge. MaxGirls is not in the conversation and takes nothing from the booking.

You edit whenever you like
Changing photos or your bio sends the profile back for review, and the profile is out of search until a reviewer passes it again, so edit in one sitting and resubmit. Changing your availability is instant.

You filter to the brief
No account needed to search. Pick the categories, the city, the age and height ranges and the availability state your shoot actually requires. The grid updates as you go and the URL updates with it, so a filtered search can be pasted into a message to a colleague.

You read the cards, not the applications
Each card carries the photo, the city, the age, the height, the categories, the published day-rate range and the availability state. That is enough to decide whether someone belongs on the shortlist without emailing anybody.

You shortlist and compare
A Booker seat adds saved shortlists per project, side-by-side comparison, contact export and team seats. Searching, reading every profile and contacting a model need no seat and no account.

You email the model
Directly. There is no casting call to post, no application inbox, and no agency in the middle taking a percentage of your budget. Rates and usage terms are already on the table because the model published them.
The review step
Why a person reads every profile
An open portfolio network publishes instantly and deals with problems afterwards. That is cheaper to run and it is why those sites are not safe to open at work. Reviewing before publication costs us a day and changes what the directory is for.

- The single most common junk profile is someone else's pictures. Review catches the obvious cases before a brand ever sees them.
- Mismatched identity
- Profiles where the photos plainly do not show one person are rejected. It is the check that makes a shortlist worth building.
- Contact routing
- Contact details in the bio are removed, so a brand reaches the model through the profile and the model keeps a record of who approached them.
- Unmarked 18+ material
- A photo that should have carried the 18+ flag and did not is the one failure that would break the promise this site makes to every visitor, so it is a rejection every time.
- EXIF and location
- Location metadata is stripped from every uploaded file automatically. A photo taken at home never publishes a home address.
